“Celebrating 50 years of service to our community.”
For 50 years, Manchester Youth Development Center (MYDC) has been working to give our youth a solid foundation for a productive life. From a strong start in Training Wheels, our preschool program, to a commitment to academics in our Afterschool Program, to explore the arts, culture, and athletics in our Saturday and Summer Programs, MYDC continues to help to build future generations of business, community and political leaders for the Pittsburgh region and beyond.
This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild. We will celebrate 50 years of service to our community and many achievements and accomplishments of MYDC students. The Robinson Awards will be presented that night. Named in honor of our founders Reverend James and Dr. Betty Robinson, the awards will recognize leaders and alumni in the Manchester and greater Pittsburgh area who have made a difference in reaching, teaching and empowering our youth.
